Recipe – Canudinho Coconut
Ingredients
- Mass:
- 1 cup of tea in warm water
- 2 tea spoons of brandy
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tea cup of wheat flour, sieved
- Wheat flour to grease
- Oil for frying
- Recheio:
- 4 tea cups sugar
- 2 tea cups of water
- 4 tea cups fresh grated coconut
- 1 can of condensed milk
How to prepare
- In a bowl, place the warm water, the vegetable fat, the yolk, the brandy, salt, and stir well. Add the wheat flour little by little, always mixing. Love to get a smooth mass. Cover the bowl and let rest for 15 minutes. In a floury surface, open the body and cut into strips.
- Wrap the strips of metal into pipes. Leave a bit of free edge to facilitate the removal of the mass. Fry the pipes in hot oil until golden, remove and drips on absorbent paper. Let warm and remove from forminhas.
For the filling
- Take to fire the sugar and water, stirring occasionally, for 30 minutes or until the consistency of honey. Add the coconut, condensed milk and cook for 15 more minutes or until encompasses. Remove, let cool and filling the canudinhos.
